i have a 99 f250 6 speed manual... i avg around town.. around 18.. highway.. depends on speed..
65-70 i get about 20 unloaded..
70+ it drops down to about 17
towing my jeep (about 6500lbs) i get an avg of 13
My average since buying the truck is 16.5. Most of my driving is urban commuting. On the freeway, holding a steady 70mph, I've gotten as high as 19.5. If I never get on the freeway, I get 15.5.

1995 F250 5 speed with 3:55 rears. Empty mileage around town 18 - 18.5, freeway cruising 70 19.5, cruising 75-80 (traffic runs fast up around Chicago) 18.5-19. Towing cargo trailer around 4000 lbs some mountains, interstate averaged 15 Cincinnati to Baltimore and return.
I have not done any heavy hauling except around town short distances so no figures there.
