When the wife and I went to see Brad Paisley a few months ago, it was the first indoor live concert I've been to in a long time. Man, was it loud. My ears were ringing so bad from the opening acts, I couldn't enjoy the main show.

Guess I'm getting old...

I found out, when I was working concert security, that if you were ear plugs, it sounds so much better. Not only does it not hurt your ears, but you don't get all of the feedback noise. I spaced bringing some Friday night, I was going to but just forgot!

I guess that makes sense... I sometimes wear ear plugs when I'm on the motorcycle, usually when I'm on the interstate. Blocks out the wind noise, but I can hear the radio great.

then it had to be loud. its pretty big place. that loud noise doesn't bother me i'm used to it being inside of a loud stock car. and playing in a band. i never used earplugs when i played or raced. i want to hear whats going on. if i break something i want to know about it! like if i blow an engine you can hear it going, or if you break a guitar string i want to hear it. i can hear just fine!

They are looking at a Pug.

I got a golden retriever puppy when I was single, he lived until 2004. The kids were 2 and 5, so they don't remember him too much. He was a great dog, but we don't want something that large. Not into the little yippee dogs, and what we've seen of pugs, they seem to work out ok for family pets.

I just know that whatever dog THEY get, it will become MY responsibility...
