pretty good today so far, it seems like (knocking on wood) whatever they did yesterday is holding together so far........I'm not holding my breath either!
Monring Neil, I'll shoot them over to you. Steve, hopefully whatever yiou cobbled together holds out, bud!
On a side note, it's so damn nice having machinists here at work at my disposal, just had them work on some stuff from the 67 for me. Damn, that's handy!!
Nothing too exciting here... Heading to Sioux Falls tomorrow for the Spirit of the West Festival. It's usually pretty good, shoot-outs, a chuck-wagon cook off, and other 1800's type stuff. Going to be downright chilly, might not even hit 60 degrees tomorrow.
That sounds pretty cool, hopefully the weather holds out. They are calling for rain here tomorrow. Sunny but chilly for Sunday, then back to the 80's on Monday.

One of my upper coil spring mount brackets. The bolt had broken off in it. I'd ordered a new one from LMC- Mistake. The one they have isn't made right, and doesn't hold the spring tight. I'd soaked the bracket (it's pretty small) for a week in penetrant, but it wouldn't budge. So, brought it in to the guys, they drilled it out, and had to basically chisel out the remaining pieces. Then they re-tapped it. Good as new! Last time I deal with LMC, unless it's absolutely, positively neccessary.

Hmmmm... I seem to remember uttering that same remark a while back. It's a shame since LMC has just about everything you'd ever need. I still want the front bumper with integrated driving lights for my truck, but I'm afraid of what it would actually be.
Good luck dealing with LMC on a return... they were jerks and only would give me a credit instead of a refund. I finally used the credit and bought a set of floor mats, so far, they have held up ok.
