It's a welcome accomplishment after my day, wasn't feeling so hot all day, stayed in bed most of it, but had to get up and do some seasons end lawn work, Clean out the garage and move some things from the house into it as we are attempting move soon.
My neighbor (user J&J) needed to get her truck from Denver, She's a close friend of ours (my wife and I) and I couldn't say no, she got me some iced tea on the way out, got us dinner in Ft Collins (getting lost multiple times) and it didn't sit well with me (even with it being my favorite, Potato Soup) ever try to hold your stomach doing 75mph in a small car???
I pulled over, took care of my problem and swapped seats with my wife, she drove and I sat in back and held my son, we got to Denver, wife forgot her glasses, and so did I, and we are both "Night Blind" well, with her being a panic attack in the making, I took the wheel again, so following my neighbor back home, with a son obviously mad daddy isn't next to him anymore, a splitting headache, my stomach wanting to leap out and strangle me. we got back to town, she filled our tank, asked to drive her to the drop yard, and dropped us $20 when we got there.
so yea, I did SOMETHING today.
400 ain't bad, now I need 500 lol.
my wife is used to driving at night. i can't do it, the light and the glare mess with my eyes. we drove to omaha here a few years back. and i drove in the daytime and erin drove at night. when i raced and loaded the car and drove home i was tired. sometimes i'd get so strung out i couldn't sleep. years ago i used to drive my car to the track and race and drive it home. we just lived a few blocks from the track. alot of guys did that.
i just don't like driving at night. and driving 75mph don't bother me, i have driven way over that. we have driven to rochester,wa. and its 75mph on the hiway up there and erin drove home. thats 150 miles from here. i met my wife at a rest stop and drove my old dodge to meet her. she drove over the road. yes she had a century class truck and 53'trailer. yes a freight shaker. i have driven my dads truck before for about 3000 miles but not at night. thats when he was up and he did that. he had a w900 kw with a 53' er

Good morning all, hope your weekend went well! Man, foggy here also, but supposed to warm up nicely.
BTW, I went to the Toby Keith concert in Omaha Friday night (I'm not really a country fan, but the wife is) his show is sponsored by Ford. He had the front half of a 2011 F-250 on the upper part of his stage, and the box on the lower. He came out, sitting in the box with his guitar. It was pretty neat! Had video screens on the side, showing Super Duty videos also.
