i understand that, i can do everything else but that. its not hard but for some reason can't do it. i rebuilt the carb on my race car and screwed that up!
and Pat it's all good, just curious, why cant you nor some other members see my pics unless your at home?
And I don't know if anyone knows Cheyenne, WY that well, but if you have ever heard of the Hitching Post Inn, it burnt down this morning.
It's being accused as an arson, what bothers me the most, is I worked there for almost 2 years, and my wife and I had our Wedding Reception there......and a family reunion or two.
I've been looking through our wedding pictures, i guess in disbelief that it really happened.
May not have been the BEST place to stay, but it was nice none the less.
Woohoo! I won the Powerball! Three... count 'em... T H R E E whole dollars!
I'm heading to the vending machines in the break room, and I won't be back till I've spent it all!
Not so fast there, bud. Don't forget your chapter leaders 30% cut. Just get me a bag of Cheetos, and we'll call it good!

Drew, the I/T ****'s here at work block certain pictures, especially from site like Photobucket. Man, the Hitching post burned down?? Wow. We used to go there when I lived in Cheyenne, those many years ago. Sad.
Well, I'm broke. $3 doesn't go very far these days... now I'll end up in the gutter and on the TLC documentary about lottery winners that blew it all.
Wow, the Hitching Post? Been by there before, seemed like a really popular place. When we lived in Colorado, we used to go to Cheyenne every year for the Frontier Days rodeo. That's too bad, hope they rebuild.

I hear ya there.
and yea, it's looking like a total loss, the decision to put the Hotel up for sale was made a year ago yesterday, which the timing is really a bit scary.
I looks to have started int he kitchen, I have some pictures, if you are interested in them, email me for them (drewdube@bresnan.net)
Otherwise I will post them here for others to see, I am gonna miss the old hotel, I was part of the staff sent home for the last time with my last paycheck and after that, it never opened it's doors again.

They were in the middle of making a sale as far as I know, the current owners are bankrupt, there's no rebuilding it from how things look, unless they come pretty far down on the price.
Exact details are unknown, but it's just sad, I have a LOT of very pleasant memories there.......the Christmas parties were fun, the people I worked with, the people I met.....yea, I'm gonna miss it.
Bummer Drew... I didn't realize the place had closed down. Is the Wrangler western store still open in downtown Cheyenne? Loved going in that place, the smell of new leather was overpowering, and the old creaking floors made you wonder if you'd fall through!

The old wrangler will never be closed, it is the biggest Icon of Cheyenne, as the plains is as well, although it's supplier was shut down, it used to be supplied by Coral West, but now all Coral West stores are owned and named under Boot Barn as is the Wranglers supplier, so some things formerly offered are no longer there.
I wouldnt expect any of the extreme landmarks to close down.
The Wrangler.
The Depot
and
The Plains Hotel.
Grier Furniture closed in 2007
CB Potts Closed Christmas Eve 2008, it's now a Verizon Wireless Outlet
Yeah, I used to love walking around the downtown area in Cheyenne. Do they still have ten thousand banks in Cheyenne? When I lived there it seemed like there was one on every corner.
