To everyone who was on yesterday to see my post about the Hitching Post Inn, it is still on fire, it is now being considered a total loss, I got a picture from my mother in law's Police Officer Friend, it's of the one side I could not access due to the road closure, I am uploading it now, Pat, I will send it to your Email as well, it's a sad Loss to not just Cheyenne, but Wyoming, and further, those out of state who have memories of it, Somber Faces and Reminiscing stories filled the air this morning as they called it out as a complete consumption.
The Air Force Fire Brigade was called in last night to relieve the City Department, all of them bunking up in the nearby motels, rooms were supplied free of charge to them by the owners of the nearby motels.
Other than all that, how has all the FTE guys day been on here?
thats not good drew. but it is good they put them up. how'd the fire start? or wildfire?
or do they know. lightning starts most of ours. that and arson.
Other than the already known ruckus, and a shot I received for some injuries that I received 2 years ago kicking my butt, I'm doing A-OK, running low on gas, but tomorrow the wife gets paid so that should be taken care of by then.

Well Jack there is no immediate information available about the Fire, there have been a few random grass fires, one being on a hillside behind the Hitching post on Saturday, they have reopened that case for a "Just in-case it's relevant" means.
I spoke to an office this morning about it, he came to me to remind me that even though the lines were pulled down that the perimeter is still closed to everyone aside from officials that have business there.
The fire got worse last night, they had a lot of fire teams dousing it, and it seemed OK until the dust in the attic cause a massive flare up and made the roof lift 5-8 inches above the building.
Of course everyone is saying arson, and so isn't the info that the public has.
This Hotel has been under a lot of heartache the past year, last year around this exact time (September 14th 2009) City Officials closed it down due to safety and health code violations, the company was under a $560,000 lawsuit and filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in January of this year, the property sold in June, renovations started in August, but officials said that it was a slim chance they would allow it to open until the entire property was up to code compliance, and then this fire happened almost to the day marking a year after the doors closed.
I was telling Pat over PM that my father in law and I had a $45,000 bid on the hotel for finishing work, which now is obviously a bust.
It's more saddening that it's burned down, than losing the work, work can be found, a direct replacement cant.
Well Guys I am out, I must go pick my son up from daycare.
I will be on whenever my wife is done commanding my laptop.
Pat, I know you will be gone by then, you have a good one bud.
Drew, have a good night yourself. About time for me to get out of here also. Going to go and see what I can get done on the 67 tonight, mainly get things ready to reassemble.
Have a good one, you guys, I'll catch ya'll tomorrow!
