cant get pitman arm off

Trying to swap out pitman arms for my lift kit, but I cant get the stock off. Had a puller on there with a 3" extension on the wrench and it still wouldn't budge. Any tips? Thanks

Yea, I finally got it off. First I put the puller on there and tightened it down as much as I could. Then I used the torch heated it up for like 5 min straight pretty much with cutting heat. When I got it about as hot as I could, I opened up the hood and slid a pipe down through the fan blades onto the arm and hit it with a sledge. And she fell :]

Good to hear! When in doubt a BFH (Big Flippen Hammer) works every time!

I hope the gearbox seals survived. I have cut them off before with a die grinder when the Snap-on puller would not remove them.
