I checked the tech folder and didn't see the procedure for installing a fuel pressure gauge. It's early and I haven't had my requisite 3 cups yet so I very well could have missed it. Is there a writeup somewhere on the installation preferably with pics. If someone could point me in the right direction is would be appreciated.
If you've installed the "blue spring", the fuel pressure test port is just to the left of the spring housing. The plug/fitting size is M12 x 1.5 and needs to go to 1/8" npt. It requires a 6mm allen wrench to remove the plug. Sinister diesel/ITP sells an adapter hose and I'm sure some other vendors also. It lets you get the gauge sending unit away from the engine vibration and to mount it in a secure place. You can then run the wires through the firewall to a gauge mount location of your choice. No fuel in the cab!!!

dont you need a male fitting to thread into the side of the fuel filter bowl ? meaning the link for the Adaptor shows hose with fitting but they all look female ?
The Sinister Diesel hose comes with the M12 x 1.5 male fitting. Depending on how big your fuel pressure sender is, the adapter hose may not be needed. I bought an Isspro EV2 and mounted the sender directly on the fuel bowl using a 45 NPT elbow attached to a M12 x 1.5 adapter. The 45 elbow was needed because the radiator hose is in the way. Here's a pic of the sender (wires not attached).
Yeah, I don't know why they don't show the adapter in the photo, but it does come with everything you need to hook that up to the fuel bowl. At least when I got it it did.
I went to a hose supplier and bought a barbed connector, hose and the adapter for about $10. Mounted the sender to the rad support used about 2ft of hose to hook it all up.
