fuel filter wires

fuel filter wires
their is 2 wires going to the fuel filter on mu truck what are they for? and and when i remove the rubber caps their is fuel pushing out on the top one for shure and possibley the bottom.

the wires are for the water in fuel light and the fuel heater I think......

The one on top is the fuel heather, the one of bottom is the Water in fuel light

i think thier might be O rings where both wires go in that can go bad

ok thanks for the help. i think the plastic must be broke i am filling the connector with fuel.

If the fuel heater connector O rings are bad, you will fill the connector with fuel.

The fuel lift pump is before the filter, so it is under pressure.

that is all it was. i replaced the o-rings and it dont leak anymore
