Exactly what I was thinking (except for the Chick Hearn part).

Everyone does something stupid every now and then. It's the actions that immediately follow that often determine the severity of the situation.

You paid for a few gallons of gas and got to spend a little time in a parking lot with your wife. The only way I could imagine this story getting any better is if you didn't have to pay California prices for that gas.
