Today I put fog lights on the new brush guard. Nothing special, rectangle ones. I see alot of people have the the round ones so I like to be different. They are the basic 55 watt Halogens. I will try them out tonight

Same thing I did to it the last couple of days. Threw something in it for my next huntin' trip. That's about the only time I drive it since I got the F350.

I will include what i have done to my "new" one the last few days. I have gotten the compass / mileage read out re-soldered so that works now. I replaced the missing relay for all the courtesy lights, I greased all the fittings on the front end, wd40's all the doors to get rid of the "door ajar" light. I tore down, cleaned and re-greased my auto hubs, replaced windshield wipers, fixed the stripped out drain plug, changed oil and put a new air filter in. Oh yeah, I also just ordered all new moog ball joints for it.

Well..

Changed the oil. I have used MC Syn. Blend 5w20 for 8 yrs with the MC filter. Still used the MC filter, but switched to Pennzoil Platinum 5w20. My Lexus GX470 loves the stuff, hope the EX does too. I also installed a Fumoto Valve and me and the wife bonded and we bleed the brakes so we now have new brake fluid all around!

Update on my Fuel Pump problem....Since I have gotten back from the trip, I have heard a noise in the rear of the EX. I thought it was the spare tire that may of gotten loose...NOPE...I though one of the kids may of dropped a toy or soemthing or hid it in a cupholder...NOPE...
I think the dealership did not put the gas tank back the right way and it is bouncing around when I go over bumps..Shocks are great and I cannot think of anything else it could be.
Also today, I noticed the fuel gauge is not working the greatest. It read 1/4 tank in the am, then a 1/2 tank just now. I drove it to the Ford dealership to let/show them the problem. Turned the EX off, fired her back up and the fuel gauge read just about 1/4 again. They said the bouncing of the tank may be doing something to the sender. They then proceeded to tell me that the dealership in FL who did the repairs would need to provide the OK to do the wtty work as it is likely their workmanship (loose tank) that lead to the sending unit failure. I said ok, but i was not paying a red cent more. I called the dealership down in FL and they said bring it in on Monday and they would work w/my dealership...Hope all goes OK...

started to fix the driver's side lock actuator- can't get it back in.
started on the passenger's side- snapped off the tab to lock it back on.
moved to the lift gate- determined the actuator is fine but the cables to release the locking mechanism are out of adjustment and can't figure out how to fix it.
0 for 3 today.

Getting ready for winter:
Mounted the studded Toyo's. Installed the 203 degree thermostat and billet neck, tensioner and Gatorback serpertine belt, adding the top radiator hose that goes around the belt rather than thru it and new red InterCooler boots.
