Put some new pads and rotors on the front. I ordered front and rear, but one of the rear rotors got lost when one of the boxes broke. Waiting on the rears to come in to get them done! At least my truck doesn't feel like the inside of a paint shaker when I brake.

Great description. Having been through the experience, that's exactly what it feels like.

Changed the clock radio (daylight saving time) by hitting random buttons really fast - after 11 yrs, still haven't written that procedure down...

Hold down the CLK button while pushing the tuner right once. Goes an hour ahead.

wander yonder

After reading this fix about 50 times, I finally broke down and tried it. Have to admit it's the cheapest way to try and fix the wandering steering. In my case it was more of a steering 'dart' than 'wander' here and there that required correction every 20 seconds and any speed. I loosened the 5/8'' nut and tightened the inner nut 3/4 turn and test drove, then tightened another 1/2 turn with a 3/16 allen. It's the best fix for wander I've had. Ball joints, shocks, steering stablizer, etc etc. all helped a little but this seems to have completed the job.

Tools: 5/8 socket + 2 wobble joint extensions
3/16ths allen wrench
crescent wrench
