if there isn't an equalizer lever for the application, does the front cable attach to the equalizer or is there something between the front cable and the equalizer?
thanks for any input. I'm at the stage in my project where I'm starting to put the PB system back in and want it to be as close to original as possible.
I looked at the different brake systems in the parts catalog. The only ones that are different (don't use an equalizer) are the supercabs and the F250/350 with heavy duty brakes.
According to the parts book a '77 F100 2WD short bed uses an equalizer like the pictures earlier in this post show.
If you'd like to see the other systems let me know and I'll post the illustration from the Ford parts catalog.

The front cable is basic part number 2853
Your profile say 1977 F100, if that's what you're working on...note there are different wheelbases.
If a short bed, 2853 attaches to 2A605 / If a long bed, 2853 attaches to 2628 (shown at upper left).
