GOT MY NEW EXCURSION!!!!

The gray interior is odd. I have a black XLT V10 with gray leather interior. I factory ordered it Feb 2000 and remembered the Limited only came with the parchment interior. No gray option. I could be wrong. I'll have to look in my closet for my 2000 Excursion brochure. I still have mine and it has 204K miles. Not once have I ever thought of getting rid of it and I too have been through some tough times. But every situation is different and being a little scared in this economy is understandable. Glad to see you're driving and Ex again.

lol the gas wasnt the issue. the issue was i was laid off for a time and got scared.
but with all this truck exchanging i've made about $5,000 in profit. plus selling another truck i had. so i'm actualy doing better then when i started w/just my '04.
this way i can have my cake and eat it too so to speak, have a excursion be able to buy the expedition i've been wanting and still have cash in the bank. plus work is back to fulltime now so things are going much better. it was just a rough few months that actualy turned out for the best.
its a long story to explain but its worked out well, and i guess i could make a good used car salesman because i've made a pretty penny doing bascily nothing.

yeah i'm allready on the look for x-code springs. then i'll just buy the blocks/ubolts at the dealer again. but thats a ways down the road.
today i took it down got a emissions test and had it titled/registered in my name and put my old vanity plates on her...shes officaly mine now! i also started working on the interior. its not as clean as i'd like yet...but i'll spent a weekend on it. also going to wetsand and buff some areas and buff the whole truck out.
w/my friends expedition
in my grandparents garage..it fit!
interior shots, looks better then it did but its still really dirty.
the plates! also removed the dumb stickers on the back window.
anything i should know about the door tag? i'm pretty sure it has 3:73s and LS but i'm not 100% sure on the LS.

I really like the gray interior. You are lucky it's only dirty, it seems to be in solid shape, no rips tears or scratches in the leather. Mine was clean but the leather was (and still is) in pretty sad shape. Still looking for a relatively inexpensive fix. Can't wait to follow all your mods to your new rig!

It really is interesting to see that gray interior. It's the first I've seen like that. It does look good though. Lucky that it's not all that torn up because replacement interior parts in gray I imagine might be somewhat difficult to find.
