yeah the leaves/seasons are starting to change. i'm allready thinking about snowtires! haha

well the final numbers are in for the trip. with my profomance 87 tune on my SCT3 tuner.

ended up being about 12.4mpg bascily all highway through the moutains..ect mostly in o/d doing about 70-73mph..but as you can see i did get it up to 115mph once and a 100mph a few times.

overall i'm ery happy with how the truck did, handled great plenty of passing power and alot of room for everyone to strech out. i'm also vey glad the alternator decided to die when i was very close to home and not out in the middle of nowhere!

yeah the V10 has never been known to be a gas sipper. but its cheap to buy, cheap to maintain and is reliable plus instant heat. you cant have everything all the time. lol i enjoy it..has plenty of power for me and i dont mind the MPG.

heres one vid i got going over the nenana bridge.

I went on vacation to Fairbanks one time in the winter when it was 16 below zero. The shops were open downtown and one of the shop owners said he hopes it doesn't get cold tomorrow. When I said "why is that"?, he said "thinks start breaking".

yeah screw winter there! coldest i've had to deal with here in anchorage was -30(no wind chill) but up there it can get as low as -66(lowest recorded temp in fairbanks)

its true, when we get a cold snap here -20 or below and alot of peoples cars dont start..ect because they have not prepared for winter.

fun fact..up there anywhere you go you restarunts, hotels, shopping centers. you have poles with 110v outlets to plug in your block heater.

i dont see it because its under the rear view mirror, so its really out of my sight 98% of the time. but the up side is it gets great reception where it is plus the new vipers have the LED staus light and the programing button all in the antenna so you need to be able to get easy acess.
