HaHa very funny. Don't you guys go to yard sales these days.....man, my wife and I score some incredible deals when we go. A few weeks ago, I bought a decent 3 ton floor jack for $8. I took it home, sanded it down a little, spray painted it black gloss and it looks brand new and works great! I have dozens and dozens of these stories. Bought some nice jack stands that same day for $1!

I like going but my wife takes forever and has to look at everything. I browse very quickly and go to the next. Sounds like a good deal on the floor jack. I could always use another one of those.

Yard sales are like ebay.....you have to really look and sift through all the crap and people having yard sales as a business to be able to find a good or even great deal!
Working late tonight......only another hour or so, then bed!

Thats one thing I hate about ebay. After you add in shipping, I've seen people pay more for something used then what they would have paid in the store for the same item brand new.

I bought a power cable for the wife's laptop on there and paid around $15 with shipping. At best buy they wanted over $50.

Yup, the good and bad of bargain hunting......I still love doing it. I buy most of my office supplies on ebay and save thousands of dollars each year. You just have to be careful and smart about it.
