Doing my normal Thursday night routine of working late at a clients shop. I sold more tires today! I hate selling tires. My plow truck wouldn't take a sticker, so I had to buy new (smaller) ones and I sold my other ones on Craigslist. Now my plow truck looks stupid! It has a 6 inch lift with 31's!
I know you're all thinking, "Why did I have too big a tire on there to begin with?" right? Well, after I got my sticker last year, I needed two new tires and found a good deal on four and I didn't realize they were too big, CAUSE THEY LOOKED PERFECT AND AWESOME ON MY TRUCK !!!! Apparently the additional 5 cm of rubber is a danger to everyone on the road.
Anyways, everyone have a blessed evening! I'm good.
Wow!!! That sucks... Just have two sets of tires. One set to get your sticker then change them out after...
I went round and round with doing that, but in the end simplicity and cost was the best. That way I didn't have to go find some cheap rims and inspectable tires and swap them out each year. It's all good now. I should be all set with my new set of 31's for a while.
Yeah, It comes down to how important it is to you and how much you are willing to do.
Morning everyone!
Have a great Friday and and even better weekend.
I might go to a car show tomorrow, maybe! Wilton Blueberry Festival in the late afternoon. Sunday, missing church to go on a club 64 mile round trip atv ride in the Western Mountains. ATVing is one of my wife and I's favorite things to do in the summer time.
