It's so weird that I came across this. Mine has been shaking for the 5 years that I've had it. I figured it was something bad because the previous owner got into an accident (truck has a rebuilt title) but now I know it's easy. And of course, I'll make my own. I'm way too cheap

 

Repair complete today. Thanks for the part BearFoot, what a difference! No more squeaky dash. Mine was broken like this when I bought it so I never knew what it was like when it was correct and I didn't realize what I've been putting up with all these years. Just awesome!
