I own a 1994 GM Fleetwood Southwind Strom 28ft with a 7.4L 454 TBI w/4L80E (P32 chassis) trans and it has been rock solid. I'm now at 71,XXX (US miles) and it averages between 8-10mpg (US). At cruise speed of 60mph the rpms rest at ~2400rpms with the 4L80E trans.
As for it's specs...
Bore & stroke 4.25" 4.00"
Compression ratio 7.9:1
TBI
230 Horsepower @3600rpm
Torque @ 1600rpm 385 ft-lb
It's simple and reliable all one could want for an RV engine.
