Dam

Won't start again. I am thinking CPS but I changed that back in February. If it is the CPS are there any good ones out there? It looks like the Ford ones suck.

Travis had a thread going about six months ago. I bought it, its purple in color and it works real well. I bought it at Ford's but it might be international, I don't remember.

Double dam! Looks like its not the CPS. Just put a new one in and it still wont start! It will turn over but I get no smoke at all from the exhaust and the tach dont move at all. Any other things I should look at?

If you are getting a WTS, loose chip, stuck IPR , bad IDM ,, try unplugging the ICP connector..

IPR is on the back of the HPOP rez and the ICP is on the drivers side cylinder head?

How do you test a IDM?

Yes WTS light has always come on.Thats strange. I unplugged the thing on the drivers side head and it started right up with a CEL. Turned off the truck plugged it back in and it started without CEL? WTF??!!??

If the contacts were clean you may only need the sensor , cheaper than the IPR.. Unplugging the ICP can un stick the IPR at times ..Is the sensor leaking oil ? ICP is the cheaper of the 2 ..
