Okay, well something is def coming out of the turbo.
Coolant has been dropping. Oil is the same and coolant has no oil our fuel in it, and oil has no coolant or fuel in it.
Under the downpipe flange, it looks like something has been dripping out. Which appears to be oil, but *shrugs*
Not entirely sure how the hell the turbo can be leaking again already. Unless the center section hole is going bad where it seals.
I got about 2500 miles on my oil.
So, Madvan sounds like the winner here.
Thoughts anyone? Why is my oil level not dropping from the smoke?
Why is the smoke coming out white, not blue?
Why do the turbo's have such crappy seal setups?
Anyone have a good center section laying around? Mine was starting to crack when I reassembled it. Perhaps it finally cracked and its spitting oil into the exhaust side of the turbo?
How bout just loosening the pan plug just to be sure there is no water in the oil. If there is it will settle to the bottom and drip out. Just a thought, quick way to check for sure
William if I remember correctly you used some used parts on that turbo didn't you? If the shaft or either base plates are worn where the seal ring rides they are junk and need to be replaced. That is why I wanted you to spend the money and just get a rebuilt turbo rather than mess with fixing yours.
BTW it don't take much oil to make smoke. And oil that is burned in the engine is blue when burned but oil directly into the hot exhaust goes white. Think about the smoke after doing injectors or o-rings. It a cloud of white smoke.
Been too busy for shooting too! Working on fixing a gun tonight and got to clean my 9mm 2 weekends ago when it went swimming with me out of my kayak......it was wet but too many on the river to go without it! Other than that only work....... and little bit of play.

The second part there is great info, never knew that TJ.
As for used parts, Used compressor difusser, and used center shaft.
That was it. Everything else was new, except for my old parts.
OEM replacement kit also, not a chineese knock off.
I would have just got a new one, but I didn't have an extra 200 dollars more than I spent doing mine.
Make sense right?
I'm pretty sure the center shaft finished cracking.
I never got around to posting pictures of it on here. It passed a pressure test when I rebuilt, so I didn't think much of it, but I figured it would come soon when I had to replace the center section.
Now I just need to figure out where to get one for a reasonable price.
William I have a good center section if that turns out to be the issue. At least I think its good. I need to look at it close. I would just want your junk one back so I can put my wall piece back together.
