Jeff has not been as prominent lately but he is definitely one of the pioneers that got this site rolling. I can personally thank him for some of his early contributions that helped me get started.
The opening poster must be a troll from a Chevy or Dodge site!!!!
What.... a positive thread thanking someone.... close it now... where are the ADMIN's!!!!!!
Learning something..... wait..... let the bashing begin!!!!!!
Geez.....
Just joking.... had this been a real emergency.... you would have been directed to your nearest "Bismic" for further assistance and updates. Please stay tuned for further information.
Thanks to the two or three of you for the kind words (to heck to the rest of you - ha, ha). Ya.... I just just lurk around from time to time here at FTE and just post when I feel I have something to add (maybe something on oil, oil filters, fuel and fuel filters).
I have grown tired warrenty posts, Ford denied this posts, which "mod is best" posts, what "Chinese oil filter is the best?" and so on... so I just lurk in the shadows..... as some of you have mentioned.... but it's all still good.
I now have 175,800 miles on my 2003 Excursion 6.0L and all is well. I still have the original C94 injectors, turbo, EGR valve, EGR cooler and so on.
All I have ever replaced are 2 alternators, HFCM fuel pump, upper & lower ball joints, front hubs, tranny temp sensor, accessory belt and some other sensor on lower motor due to slight oil drip (forgot name - dam I'm getting old). Accept for routine brakes, fluids, tires and such.... all is well!!!!!
Mr. Filtration is now going to bed for the night... so take care... it's now 10:19pm here in Kansas City.

I think you just live in KC so you can beat the west coast to bed. Good excuse for getting old. Some day you might catch up with me. Age wise that is.
Jeff, I see where you are coming from. You may find the newbie posts as redundant but they are questions of real concern to someone new. Not all people are computer friendly and have a difficult time using the forum search function. Many find FTE when they have a problem that cannot be resolved.
So Yes, you are getting old.... Even young Beach asked questions when he was new..... Injectors good or bad? You have contributed a great wealth of information and I Thank You for that.
Ever since I have started using this forum, I couldnt be more happy with my truck. I will click on threads that interest me and will scroll thru them and get a glimps of the problem, idea or solution. But when I am scrolling, if I see a post from Mark (BISMIC) I will stop and read his entire post because I take to heart what he has to say. I hope he never leaves the 6oh world or at least not before me (that wont be for a long time). I usually read something he has posted and if it pertains to my truck, off to the dealership I go and have a chat with my mechanic. HEY LOOK, ANOTHER BISMIC POST....
I appreciate the thread and posts, but I'll say it again - it really isn't necessary.
I have been fortunate to network well w/ a BUNCH of smart and helpful people - AND I guess I have the spare time to put up a lot of posts (most of it I have learned here from others and/or some local techs I know). I will say that I greatly enjoy the truck, working on it, and talking about it - an addiction fueled by good friends that are 500hp and over (for me - maybe someday!). Also, many thanks to a couple of you "old time" members and a couple of newer ones that keep me supplied in FORD literature!!
Tony - you have been a big help to me, so thanks back at you .....................
Mark I am sorry for not thanking you sooner. This post has been going on for almost 5 mths. and this is the first time I have seen it..You have helped me many times and I think highly of you and your gentle and informative inputs and vast resource of information...Truly a great freind to all who come here...Thankyou and don't let all these compliments let you slack off....lol....Doug.
I've said it before..........BISMIC is a super computer and not a real man.....he knows way too much to be human.
J/K....Thanks Mark for all the help you've given me and all the UNBEARABLE and OVERANALYTICAL questions I have asked you (and you've answered) over the years.
