That would be interesting to know. By what I read on some of the "Ford" parts websites there are no user servicable parts available from Ford dealerships. I would think any reputable alternator shop would have those parts if they are available.

Ok, called three of my regular aftermarket suppliers and none of them listed brush or regulator assy . Dealer did not either . Remanufactured MotorCraft alternator ar Ford Dealer , my cost $179.00 .
I guess that is what I will do.

For the amount of work, the savings would be minimal. Just stabbing in a referb is the way to go.
