Hey man thanks for all of the pics you posted thats awesome. Hopefully I will have this problem fixed today. But that air sensor is located on the drivers side of the motor right?
Thanks man I do have one more question about this. I just got back from napa (the closest auto parts place) and the only tps they had was for an automatic truck. How much of a difference is it for an auto or a standard? Yea I forgot to take the danged old tps with me to compare em...so now its back off to napa and compare.
Thanks,
Chris
well the tps and the iac arenew and the truck still has it. now i cant figure out how to get the wiring plug off of the air temp senor to check it. i have checked all of the vacum hoses and they look good. Is there any place I should look for a vacum leak?
A difference between auto and standard for TPS... I don't think so. Taking off the air temp sensor plug is a bit difficult because of all the clips that lock it lol. You'll figure it out. Vacuum leaks can be anywhere. No real specific place. So how did it go with the new parts?
The new parts are good..lol except now I have to deal with a broken bolt....its going to be a fun day lol...but do you know which line I should put a vacum gauge on the motor?
uh oh what bolt? And well you got me there... why not try your MAP sensor vacuum line. See what it does. I hope the pics I am taking help you a bit. It's cause mine is a '93 but it probably shares alot of the things on your 5.0.
