i didnt even pull my headliner all the way down. i just loosened the trim around the windshield and over the doors. just a tiny bit of fishing (almost none). i have more wires above my headliner than the dash board of the space shuttle.
Not trying to be annoying and aask dumb questions...But when i pull the headliner out, will i be able to reach the wires or is therea channel the wires run into? Didnt know how much it will suck. The truck i took them off of was a 350 custom so it didnt have a liner. And you couldnt see the wires.
There's no need to even remove the headliner at all. All of these trucks have a steel ceiling and the oem wires are above the ceiling. Take off the passenger kick panel and there are a bunch of wires and plugs, there should be one 2-wire plug not used, that's for the cab lights.
After drilling all of my holes I ran a fish from the cab light hole and it ran right down the A pillar to where the plug and wires are. Can't get any easier than that.

I just pulled front trim and the A pillar trim when taking them from the turd. I pulled the headliner down just a bit in the front. I wanted to see how they were in so I could put them back. You definitely DON'T have to pull the headliner out. And after what George and Jim have said it is even easier.
Thanks George. I pulled my kick panel to look at it and decide to just go ahead and put em on. It was super easy. I left the black wire in the plug because I grounded each light to the cab and then ran my hot from the lights down to the green wire in the plug. Works like a charm and looks slightly manlier now. Can't wait to get the clears and LEDs but this will definitely suffice for now!

Well like an idiot i left the wiring harness in the truck. Figured it was to hard to take out. Seems like its in there pretty well. Do i make my own harness? Or should i go back and pull a harness out?
