Have yall seen some of the more contemporary cab lights like those on 6.0s and up on OBS trucks? The ones that are more round and not as long? Do they look funny on our trucks since the OBS is squared and has many angles? I saw some smoked out ones on an OBS and it looked weired but I dunno if it was the shape or the smoke lense.
I have some factory ambers from my donor that I'm thinking of putting on Redman. Ultimately I want some clear ones. I haven't decided if I'll get the factory size/shape clears with led's or some of the newer style clears. My dilemma is that if I put the factory ambers on for now I'll have to replace with the clear of the same style otherwise have holes in my roof not covered by the smaller more round lights. I imagine though that the factory shape ones will look best since they are boxy like the truck. Opinions?
i saw the smoked out ones on a all black crew cab here. i liked it. i went through many lights deciding on the ones i wanted, and came back to stock
I think smoked the same style as stock would look good but not so much the round ones. One day I'm gonna get clear just don't have the cash now. So your favorite ones were stock?
yes. if my truck had been all black, i would have gone smoked. i was really close to the GM smoked, one peice 3 lights in the middle, and one on each end, but talked myself out of it.
I like the clear ones that light up amber.. And the factory styling is something i would keep! I found some on LMC truck site that are really nice LEDs, a little pricey, but not badly!
I like that, did you use a pic microcontroller, did you program it yourself. I learned how to program those in some classes at CSU, it's not everyday knowledge
you got it. it is a 18 pin PIC. i had my cousin program it for me, he has all the equipment for that. but, he couldnt run all these wires to save his life.
