its fords early IFS. the axle is actually two peices that are mounted on bushings conected to the frame, then has the coil springs and trailing arms behind the wheel that go up to the frame also and this set up is a realy nice one its not too hard to get 14" of travel out of it. ttb is alright. Its not nearly as strong or long lasting as a-arm ifs but it takes off road abuse better. I have jumped both my trucks and even though my 150 is double the wieght of the luv, the 150 lands better. So for off roading if you dont do alot of extreme stuff (just trail running) it will serve you well and your back will thank you.
