Causes for idle only

Basically what my title says...what causes a 6.0L to go into idle-only operation? I know the throttle pedal can do it if all 3 sensors fail, but what else is there?

Loss of vref to the pedal assembly. I would verify with a dom actual pcm input from the pedal assembly as close to the pcm as possible.

It's gotta be Dominatrix or digital ohm meter.

A simple mutimeter. Back probe it and check the circuit with it plugged into the pcm. A bad connection or broken wire may mask it's self without any load on it. Kinda like a garden hose with a valve on the far end, crack the hose bib wait a minute and you will have full pressure until you open the far end and it will drop to near nothing.

TPS (throttle position sensor), Defective EGR, stuck turbo vein, VGT , open short in wire some where to name a few, did you take a look at the Vid I sent ( other thread )?
