I know there a little different. ie speedo cable. got a chance at a '93 350 crew cab for $800. they say the tranny only works in reverse. and i've got a 91 E4OD that needs a TC. will a 93 controller work the shift soleniods in a 91 i think the connectors are the same.
also as part of B&M's shift kit.they send you new valves to install in the pump.so can kill two birds with one stone while your at.
thats a heck of a deal for a 93 f350 crew!
Just looked in my book and I can't find a reason it wouldn't work. There were some changes to the solenoid body in 1994 but nothing electronic that I could find across 1991-1993.
If the connectors on both transmissions are the same then the '93 PCM will work with the '91 trans - the change in shape was made so you cannot run a solenoid pack that is incompatible with the PCM.

Wasn't it '96 when all the hardware goodies were installed in the E4OD, and not '94? Besides, I think you're missing the main point here tho, that he's trying to turn a cheap truck into a good deal with parts he already has - not really going backwards with the swap either, since he's not installing an '89 transmission.
yea theres no doubt about it it will be a heavy duty tc plus adding a huge air cooler in front plus I add a spin -on oil filter in the cooler line plus a extra cap. pan with flues.
