my 76 has a 203, and I had a part time kit put in bcause running it in the lock position with free hubs on the front will burn up the diff inside of it, lock doesnt mean there is a posi lock on it like a rear end, it means it was a full time t case, 4 WHEEL ALL THE TIME so in high it is like a differential and lets it turn corners without ripping the wheel out of your hand, try it in hi and with the hubs in free, you will not go anywhere, lesson learned the hard and expensive way
