use a cigarett lighter adapter to an old style volt guage, I have a couple here if you need 1. that way it will give you a running tally of what it's doing in real time
Hey Charlie..... when the voltage lamp started flickering the voltage was right around 13.5 - 13.8 v. Even when the light was on steady, the voltage stayed right about the same! Turned on headlights, no change.

alternater is chargeing ok then. the light is hooked through the key circuit on the f series trucks, I'm sure it's the same on the cars, I'll see if I can find the diagram and down load it
I gotta go get this other guys key made and send it back to him. I keep the security key, he gets the copy so he can unlock the steering and trans interlock. I also have a uncut security key which I hope I can program if I need to. Then I'll install the new SCIL module and see if it makes any difference in charge voltage. I also have to replace or find out why that upper fuse doesn't have voltage...... I didn't go back out to the car after I got home. BTW, my manual was in the trunk! LOL

3 fuses dead, one near the top, one near the bottom, both on the right side, other one is in the power center under the hood. figures the manual was in the trunk, but if we had it, we wouldnt have noticed the dead fuses. tree ok here. hehehehe
