naaaaaa, been working on the 94. yesterday replaced the broken leaf spring and perches, then removed the old rear gas tank. put in the new tank, with the straps I fabracated from steel bars. drilled the holes for the class 3 hitch, and rotated the tires. today, I put on the new front sway bar that was missing, some of the rubber kit that surrounds the radiator, changed the coolant recovery/washer resivor, put the new clutch on the clutch fan, installed the new fan shroud, and finally found, and repaired the antifreeze leak I've been smelling.next weekend I plan to put the shift solinoids in the trans, replace the bent axel and backing plate, and the axel bearings and seals. does anyone know if the posi unit out of an 8.8 mustang will fit in an 8.8 f 150? I could do that while the axels are out.

It IS hot out there....close to 100 in my back yard! Trying to figure out ANOTHER problem with the Lincoln. Flickering Charge Light in dash. All voltages look good. Will NOT flicker at idle stopped - gotta be on hiway.

what is the actual battery voltage as you are on the hwy? could be overchargeing, light tells of under/over charge.

I know from a previous experience that an OVER VOLTAGE will start shutting down components that are sensitive to high voltage and it ain't doing that!
