I know that this post is ancient, however I thought I would throw this out there…..
I machined some out of 6061 aluminum for my buddies ‘79 Bronco using a damaged original and a lousy picture as reference. Turned out pretty decent, even sold a few but most people are content with whatever home spun hanger they can concoct. I have also “built” him knock off cb antenna, pretty convincing. I think I have created a monster because now he is hinting around about reproducing the factory fog light brackets for the push bars. He bought a “repo” set, they suck, not even close and they look very “newbie” to me.
