It's for a factory CB setup, kind of a rare item. Post a picture of the antenna.

I have the Factory CB radio setup as well in storage awaiting my other truck project! The only things I didnt get was the mic Hanger bracket and the correct antenna. I allways wondered if the regular antenna was the same or not.

It's not. The CB uses a specific antenna:

D8TZ18813B .. CB Antenna / Obsolete / Fits: 1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco.

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Does the correct antenna look any different? Something that may stand out in the salvage yard.

I know some of the full size ford cars from the 70's also came with the factory cb. Are those antenna's compatible with the truck setup?

How about the hanger bracket?

Yes this is what it looks like.

NOS kit I used on my Bronco.

I don't have a picture of the mic hanger but it is a little black "button" that mounts with 2 screws. Proper mounting spot per the directions.

Yes it is. It is a very rare item, probably one of the hardest to find. How much you want for it?

No. Your best bet for parts is on ebay. I see the mics alot but rarely come across the hanger.

Don't expect to have a great sounding radio once it is all working either. The most I can get out on mine is about 5-7 air miles. Mine is more for show than anything now.

That is also the first antenna I've seen with a spring on it. I have 2 spare antennas and neither have a spring.

Mine would be used for show as well...
and if i ever used it I would just be talking to my cousin or a couple buddies.
just because it would be easier than using my phone.

bummer... that would have completed my CB kit!

I guess I will have to revisit my local salvage yards and search the trucks again to see if they have that antenna!
