Hey guys. I have a '74 Supercab with a 390. it has a holly 4 barrel carb. its 2wd since Ford did not come out with a 4wd version of the Supercab until '78. My question is do I take the suspension and frame from a 4wd and convert my truck to a 4wd or will that make the value of the truck go down. as to my knowledge it has only 37 thousand original miles on the truck and motor. I am stuck as to what to do. leave it 2wd or do I make it 4wd?? Help is much appreciated.
I don't have any idea if it would decrease or increase the value of the truck. Few trucks are pristine enough that all original really matters. Unless you're just hanging on to it as an investment and plan to flip for a profit, you should make it the truck you want.
