not realy sure if it is a miss it is iratic dont know when i will happen but the check ingen light will come on and sodenly no power and the moter shakes wile it is doing it i have checked the fuel presher 55psi hpop pressur 800 at idel 3200 topend. replaced oil senser in head replaced cps did not help any suggestions

 

Unplug the map sensor while it is doing it and see if it changes.

 

or you can just unplug the map sensor and see if the reaction is the same.

 

shorted out vc wiring possibly(uvc's,vc gaskets or plugs)?????????????/

 

were is the map sencor and i tryed the vc gesket.i tryed un pluging the vc gasket the problem got worce on each pluge

 

why cant i read the code when this happens

 

you can try checking the tin nut on the IPR might be a little loose

map sensor is up high on the hood to firewall seal area. has a plug and rubber hose coming out of it. or just follow the little rubber hose off the intake plenum to the pass side and youll see it.
