i have a 2000 f250 with the 7.3 i was driving down the interstate when i noticed it began to run ruff and the shut down i retrieved my codes and it said icp sensor was bad and the cam sensor also. I replaced both still no start now its saying icp out of range low. Any ideas on what to try would be greatly appreciated
not sure where you are located there, but check fuse number 30, if it is blown i would say that your fuel bowl heater shorted out. just unplug it and replace the fuse. it died while driving, still turns over and does not fire, right?
yes i checked the oil it was full and checked all fuses
Not just the engine oil, but the oil in the HPOP reservoir. If you've had to monkey around with the ICP, you may need to crank for quite a while to refill the HPOP reservoir or refill it manually.
Welcome to FTE. What year is your truck? Does the wait to start light come on and go off like normal? Is there any smoke out the tailpipe while cranking? Where did you get your CPS? What are you using to pull the codes? Unplug the ICP and try to start like Kent suggested and see if that helps.
it is a 2000 i tryed that today still no start and the isn't any smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe i am using edge evolution to pull the codes i have a buddy coming with a snap on to better access the situation and yes the start light goes on and off like normal
