CODE--P2285 ICP QUESTION

I HAVE A 2004 F250 CREW CAB 6.O
THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, THE CODE IS
P2285 ICP=injector control pressure sensor

definition;
ICP circuit out of range low
explanation;
ECM has detected an out of range ICP sensor
probable cause;
open or short circuit condition
poor electrical connection
faulty ICP sensor

I WOULD START BY REPLACING THE ICP SENSOR (WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?)
IS THERE A YOUTUBE VIDEO THAT SHOWS WERE IS THIS AT AND AN EASY WAY TO REPLACE IT?

ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT
THANKS

i forgot to tell you guys the symptoms

when the truck is running on park it rebs up for a second or so every minute.
when im driving you can feel the engine rebing up for a second or so and it also feels like a quik pick up in speed, and when im slowing down almost at a complete stop it feels like some one just bumped me from behind at the same time it rebs up for a second or so.
i dont know if this has to do with the icp but when i start the truck in the morning the rpm use to go up after a minute or so and now it does not do that, it stays at 750

If it is a late 04 with the 04 engine the icp will be on the front of the passenger valve cover easy to get to. If an early 04 with an 03 motor it will be on the HPOP cover under the turbo, hard to get too. Personally I would suspect the wireing harness to the icp. A common failure point either way.

There some good write-ups in the tech folder. That 03 is a pita to get to.

well i went to the ford dealer to see how much they would charge me to do the ICP sensor, ($480.00 for labor only plus $160 for the sensor)
i almost had a heart attack. i bought the sensor ($160.00) and went home and did it myself, it took me an hr to do, disconnected both batteries for about 1 minute to reset the check engine light. the truck runs smooth and the check engine light never came back on. a savings of $480.00

thanks guys for al the advice
