problem with my 6.0 powerstroke
i bought a 2004 ford f250 S.D 6.0 diesel about a year ago. with in the last 2 months i been havein problems. sometimes when im driveing it ill come to a light and have to stop, when i go to take off my truck will be running but i will have no power. after about a min. the power is back and i can go. now im havein problems with in staying running, ill let it run, but if it sits to long the truck will start to shake then stall. this only happens when i come to a stop, or just let it run. i dont no alot about diesels (this is my first) what do you think is wrong with my truck and what should i do???? anyting will help.thanks, brett

My 05 f250 6.0 is in the shop right now with the same problem. Truck runs at idle and give it pedal to the floor and nothing just idles. Ford called me and said the main engine harness and injector harness was bad along with the glow plug modual and sticking turbo. $3,200.00, on my 5th beer...

smoke does not come out, i have an edge chip on it and smokes when i floor it on stage 3, but i took it off today to see if the chip was doing anything to my truck. but still happened off the chip, do i have to take it to a dealer for the codes???
