68 429 thunderjet?...

hey guys...i just got home from my uncles house....he just accuired a 1968 429 thunder jet...and the c-6 behind it...does anyone know what these are worth?....or how rare?....its got over 100,000 miles and is going to need to be cleaned up....i think i can mabye get it off of him... how much power and torque did these have?....in 68?....thanks....now just got to figure out how to get it....man....429 in my truck might just happen after all!!! WHOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!

1968 Thrunderjet is the standard engine rated at 320 Hp for 2V and 360 Hp for 4V. Was available in full size Ford and Mercurys.

does it have the good heads?.....like the 75 cc chambers?....or 74.......or somehting around there.....yea..also if i got this engine and put it in my truck...the linckage wouldnt work because the c-6 was designed for a car correct....but if i have a floor shifter and a cable to opperate the transmission..will it be ok.....it is a B&M quick silver shifter....so this engine is rated at 360 horses with the 4v....cool...would it be worth trying to get...or is it just another 429?..not that rare or valuable...? thanks for your time..
