Man what a difference....
When I put my pyro in the other day, I turned up the injection pump about 1.5 maybe 2 flats. Man talk about a difference. Got my 0-60 time down to about 11 seconds from 16. Itll REALLY set ya back in the seat from take off too. I guess btwn the IP, soup bowl mod, and my exhaust I dun good. Just wait till I get my dual 3.5 inch exhaust put in. That f****rs gonna fly!! lol. I'm still running the stock 2.25 pipe to the 4 inch stack, but with no muffler.

Not sure what you mean by averaging both directions on the same road, but she was really bookin. IIRC their was little to no wind. I did it twice in the video and both times it was about 11 seconds. Ill put the video up when I get a chance, but I believe dad has the camera cord and he just left for texas this morning lol.

there ya go John.thats how they should get along right there!
thats why when people say the IDI is slow/doggy i scratch my head.
good ip and injectors is essential.i was gunna do that with mine, but i cant get up and go quite that good with my wind catcher bed on.without it though,we would be pretty close.
great vid!
like i always say,if the IDI doesn't make you grin when you come onto her,it's past time for a complete tune up/inspection (compression check/ip/injectors/timing adjusted/fuel flow test/air & fuel filter replacement/exhaust inspection-aka new muffler etc.)
the only time the IDI should be slow,is when loaded and uphill(cus we dont have much in the way of hp.)otherwise, something is not within specs somewhere.she should feel really grunty, and move empty (cus we have loads of torque.)
plus you need to remember these rigs are built for work(serious work at that,) not just driving like a car.they are HEAVY rigs.

I think I hurt my neck just looking at that. Thats nuts!
I had my doubts but that looks pretty real to me. I know of another 7.3 powered truck that returned 13 seconds and I had my doubts about that one too. Might have to rethink my position on what is or is not possible with a non turbo.
