I am right here Dave, was out mowing lawn. Got done in record time. 1:20 minutes. Both my mom and her boyfriend helped. The pathetic thing is with two other people mowing it only saved me 45 minutes.
That edge and cover looks good. Remember Tom keeps talking about getiing one for his truck. If it hangs down a foot, that will be big trouble for hos tool box. Man, I hope he would measure that wrong. That would be sooooo funny.
Nice, I finally check in tonight and Troy has to post at the exact same time.
How you doing everyone. Glad to hear you all have camping plans this weekend. I am stuck at home. My family puts up crosses for all the area veterans for memorial day, and then there is a service on Mon. My dad started doing this when he came back from Korea and there was approx 50 crosses. I think this year there will be over 500. They all have names and are put up in order of the war or time they served. It tends to be a emotional weekend due to the passing of my dad only a year and a half ago.
[quote=dlibson;8936490]Hey Lee! You must have slow helpers...
Not really slow helpers, just slower mowers. One is a 52" walk behind and does pretty good, but the 38" rider and my mom combo is almost painful to watch when I am mowing with the zero turn at 8 mph.
Lee, that's very noble! I'm very sorry to hear about your Dad...
It's a much better thing to do then just going camping...
Thanks Dave, we have pretty much taken over doing it for the VFW, and it is a good thing because their members are getting pretty old and the ones who are not either have health issues or don't care about it, but their are some pretty dedicated members too.
