Only way I know is with something like AutoEnginuity and clear the fault through that. I don't know of another way.

Are you plugged in while getting the code? Just asking as everything seemed to be working on mine but still had the fault. After searching for awhile I did find a wire disconnected on one of the brake solenoids. Hooked up wire and it went away.

Too my knowledge you need some sort of code reader to reset codes or disconnect batteries which is my last choice.

I have the tbc fault. I reset it with a scanner but it came right back. The potentiometer in the manual slider is bad. Have to wiggle it to make it work. The pressure transducer and automatic trailer braking work fine.

What year/model truck. I know it's NOT the truck in your profile...No TCB in '97.

Have you looked to see if there is corrosion inside the 7-pin plug at the hitch? Many have had that happen. Open plug, clean connections and protect with dielectric grease.
