I purchased a tilt steering column that I was told was off of a 1979 F150. I just put a 1979 cab on my 1973 2wd and went to install the column it is different it has a universal joint not the flat plate that goes to a rag joint. Is this the correct column and if so where would I buy the adapter plate.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

It sounds like you may have a 78 / 79 bronco column. The 79 bronco I had was that way and was different than my 79 150 sc. The bronco gear is in a more forward position than your 150, and had a shaft to go from the u-joint to the gear. You will need a u-joint of some kind I cant say what as I don't have the bronco anymore to look at.
I find it easy to upload pics to an account like Photobucket to post here.
Yeah, you'll need to find the rag joint coupler from another column. I don't think no one actually sells the OEM couplers. Columns are different, so you'll have to find a column that you can remove the coupler. The more expensive option would be to go this route. http://www.jegs.com/p/Borgeson/Borge...55269/10002/-1
