What is my trim level?

What is my trim level?
I recently purchased a 2008 CC F250 6.4 and I am trying to figure out what trim level it is. I know it is a strange question, and what it actually is doesn't really matter because I love the truck.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Here is what it has:<o></o>
no markings on the chrome vents like Lariat or KR on the front fenders<o></o>
painted front and rear bumpers, grill and door handles<o></o>
chrome step bars<o></o>
18 inch rims<o></o>
FX4 sticker and skid plates<o></o>
power leather heated captain chairs with memory switch<o></o>
GPS touch screen 6 disc radio with sub (factory)<o></o>
back up sensors<o></o>
upfitter switches and brake controller (cab lights)<o></o>
power telescoping and folding mirrors (painted on the top half)<o></o>
trip computer (does not have the 3 buttons on the side like most Lariats have and does not have outside temp or compass)<o></o>
shift on the fly 4X4 with auto hubs<o></o>
factory backup camera in the rear view mirror<o></o>
tailgate step and handle
<o></o>
Does not have:<o></o>
power rear window<o></o>
digital climate control (just has the normal *****)
<o></o>
Most trucks I have seen usually say Lariat, Harley, KR on the chrome vents. I have even seen some that say XL, XLT and FX4 but I am not sure if those were after market add ons.<o></o>
Like I said, I love my truck but I am really curious of the trim level. When I bought it from the dealer the salesman was an idiot and couldn’t spell F250 if he tried. He told me it was an XL and someone must have added all the extras themselves. I know this not to be true since I looked up the interior trim level on the door sticker and it is PA.
<o></o>
Any help and knowledge would be greatly appreciated on how to differentiate the difference between trim levels.<o></o>
Thanks<o></o>

You can go to Motorcraft web site and shop by VIN near the bottom. Put in your VIN and in the next page it will tell you. Here is the link.

I thought they made an XLT Sport package that had everything painted (bumpers, handles, top of mirror) like you describe and optional leather interior. Other things could always be factory options. But I'm surprised there is nothing on those side vents on the fender indicating trim level. Maybe that package eliminated that?

Found this in a 2008 sales brochure

Also said leather seating was "select availability" and I think the sport group was included.

sounds like you have a 2008 FX4 package. it was a separate model for 2008/2009. The sport model was an xlt and had a painted tribar grille, the FX4 model had a painted grill with hortizontal slats much like the lariat grille.
#6
I think this is correct. FX4 became its own trim level rather than a package that was available on top of other trim levels.

yup, cuz if it was an xlt and had skid plates and was 4x4 it would have the "4x4 off road" decal. The OP stated he had the FX4 decal. only way to get that in 2009-2009 was to have the fx4 model. 2010 went back to having the fx4 as a package to any model.

Thanks for all your help. You all were right, it is an FX4. I went to the fordparts site, entered my vin and it displayed as a FX4. I also looked up the front fender ornaments (as they are called) and the one with no trim level on it is for an FX4.
I also found this handy link to get the original window sticker.

I found it way back in the forums.
Thanks again for all your help guys!!!!!
