I posted in this thread so I figured I better put it on the table to avoid being a post *****
Ok,
First "attempted purchase" (got told off for it being to rotted by my old boss)
1971 Buick GS(X) conversion 2-door coupe w/ 350Buick. Kinda rare now but like I said wasn't in the greatest shape.
Unofficial first car - 1985 Ford T-Bird - boss was flipping over me trying to buy "junk" (I saw potential...) that he located that for 500$ sight unseem from a friend. His "friend" didn't tell him their was a 2' hole in the one side.
Official first car that I bought and drove 1989 Sunbird GT. And I never managed to sell it, by the looks of things I will be driving it again very soon.
Then I moved on to my 93 acura. and then I decided I needed a truck and got my 79.
Sadly enough they will all be going bubye except the sunbird I think...then after I get school bills ( school bills) and other debt taken care of I will locate a nice F-X50 shell hopefully 1979ish 4x4 and take my time building it up nicey nice. to tow a trailer with a future stang. I've taken a real liking to fords, for a lot of reasons.
Lots and lots of reasons. But we shall see.

ps. if any of you rich kids have parents that want to send me something i could go for a 95 BMW 318i to get me back and forth to school, I will send them pictures and what not (kinda like the poor kids in africa programs? Except I want a car not $0.78 a day)
My first car was a 1956 Chevrolet sedan delivery. No front clip, no motor or trans, just a rolling start with little rust or dents, except bad corrosion in the rear cargo/spare tire well are from fertilizer storage, the hulks former job on a farm before I 'rescued' it. I saw potential , my dad saw red, and he won, as it was his backyard I drug it home to, and I was 14. So I parted my fifty dollar treasure by selling the rear door/hatch for 100 dollars, and towing the rest to a sort of communal junkyard on a friend's farm.
My first truck is a '95 F-250HD XLT SuperCab Longbed 4x4 with a 460 in it. Drinks gas like crazy, but drives like a dream. Got it back on the 29th of May last year (I was 16 then, 17 now). The first owner had just traded it in on a 2002 F-250 PSD. I don't have a job, but I do a lot of things to cover my end (gas, maintenance) I cut grass in the summer, fix lawnmowers (tune-up, oil, blades, etc.) then too and in the off season, also, I fix up old lawnmowers (stuff that needs points, condenser, carb work, etc.) and sell them. I also do a lot of odd and ends too to cover, like I just helped my uncle move and I used the truck to do that, so he gave me some money for helping out. Then, I help out on the farm when I can and Dad will give me some money. I'm still in school and I don't really have time for a part time job, so I work during the summer. Also I collect train stuff and the other year I bought a man out of his collection and there is a lot of duplicate items (2 or 3 of each thing), so I'm in the process of selling a lot of that stuff too to maintain my part of the truck deal. By the way, I did put money on that truck, too (down payment).
first truck was a 82 F-250 LD 4x4 bought it with 220,000 mi it now has 270,000 (bought it when i was 14 ) was the first one in my school to have pipes and big tires on a truck it has a 302 and a C6. It started nickle and dimeing me in my first year of college. now i got a 90 F-150 4x4 (302, T-18) but the 82 will get a 460 and the 4-speed and ton axles and 38's in when i get time, talent and cash dad had a 77 dog that was our only truck i deicied to step it up. that truck was the undesputed king of the wheelers (first time i started a trend!) it got rode hard and towed the mountains and came back for more. I will never sell it
My first vehicle was a 1950 F3, which I still own. Twas a hand-me-down from my Grandparents, so the price was right. If the gallerys are up you can see pics of it... (or look here ).
What was your first vehicle? Mine was a 1970 Mustang Grande coupe (302, 2V, auto) - then I got a 1980 F100 shortbox pickup (351, 4V, 4 speed) - Funny thing was the pickup was way faster then then Mustang if I remember correctly.....hehe)
Ooops, I also had a 1979 Mercury Capri in-between the Mustang and the F100 - it was a 5.0 2V 4 speed - it was a boat anchor but it looked kewl - Black Magic Edition with the gold TRX wheels and green stripe package - slowest vehicle I've ever owned - but somehow I wish I still had it - it would be kind of "retro" these days........
84' F-150, Limited Edition Texas Lariat. Long wheel base, dual tanks, automatic with a 300 inline six. I loved that truck. Regret selling it to this day.
A 67 F-100, short bed, staight six, three-on-the-tree, white spoke rims, white letter tires, AM/FM/Cassette..and an unbelievable amount of bondo. I bet it had over 50 lbs. of the stuff stuck in it. In some of the most unusual places too. Still, I get a little misty just thinking about the Blue Turtle.

My first car was a 1950 Dodge with a flat head 6 and fluid drive tranny. My dad bought it for me for $50 . It had a burnt valve but my brother and I pulled the head and hand lapped in another valve. I drove it until I bought a 57 Ford.
1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring...Black with white half vinal top...383 C.I. 727 TRANS with B&M shift kit...white letter Goodyears and Cragar mags....ahhhh...I can almost smell the rubber burning again!!!!
Mine 62 Pontiac LeMans convert, A frend of the family gave it to me when he went to trade it in on a 73 chevy they were going to give him 100 bucks for it so he gave it to me.
The top was distroyed by a hail storm and I had a new on put in for $106.00. (Wish I still had that car) It was white with a white interor.
Firtst ford car was a 65 Galaxie
First Ford truck 1976 Ford Courier , Orange with a white lightning bolt all he way down the sides (Wish I had this one too)
