I have a 1950 F1. I cannot find windshield rubber that allows chrome trim on the rubber. I have found it on mid-50's but not on a 1950. I only found the black rubber. Can anyone direct to a site that has this? I would really like to put this chrome trim around my front and rear windshields.

Unless somebody now offers it as an aftermarket item, no '51 or '52 came with the stainless (not chrome) trim on the back window. Only on the front. Stu
I didn't correctly read your post, are you looking for just the windshield rubber that is used with he stainless trim or are you looking for both? No one reproduces the windshield trim, you have to find a used one, and like Stu said, there was never a factory rear window trim.
So, to tie it all together, if you want the polished stainless steel trim around your windshield on your 1950, you will have to buy a used 1951 or 1952 trim piece (it was not offered on the 48-50s) and 1951/52 rubber seal that is specially for use with the stainless trim. It will fit on the 48-50s.
Those trim rings in any kind of shape will run you $200-$400 depending on condition! If you buy one make absolutly certain that the small stainless steal joining clip (about 1" long) is included.
Bob's part number for MACS is good or you can get one at C&G for $40 - P/N 1C-8103110 (that P/N is probably good for Dennis Carpenter too).
