Every time I read the cheezit diagnostics... I shudder at the thought of being in the presence of a pro....

Hats off to cheezit for the diagnostics... wish I could do that.

cheezit... i tried unplugging the icp sensor but it only made it worse so i plugged it back and scanned it and that was the only code that was on it..i did a system reset and will see how it runs tomorrow...is there a way i can check my injectors to see if they are all firing correctly?...once again thanks to everyone for the help!

for that all I know to suggest is to disconnect one at a time and see what one it is that kills the shutter if you are able to tell running on 7 cyclinders.

When did you buy the truck? It may still be under the emissions and engine warranty.

Warranty ran out on 4-8-2010...the last two times I've taken it to the dealer it has been fixed under the emissions warranty so no deducable...definitely looking into an extended warranty though

is it possible that when I got my new FICM a couple months ago that it didnt get the latest update flash? And is there a way to check that without a dealer?

I hate to bring up an old post but was the problem ever solved? I’m having the same issue and can’t seem to figure it out Was it something like this??
