2003 f250 6.0 tranny shifting problems

I have a problem that started out with the alternator going out. My batteries went dead before I got home. With a new alternator and fresh batteries now the transmission jerks when shifting from second to third and third to forth. It's like it slips then bangs back into gear. Once the tow/haul shift started flashing. I have a superchips flashpaq tuner. I read the codes and cleared them. I still have the same problem and it shoots the codes. The codes are p0603 (kam), p0730(incorrect gear ratio),p2730(trans. friction element), and p1000(more driving required). I never had a problem until the batteries went dead. Any help GREATLY appreciated

Not sure how your tuner works but it sounds like the TCM file may be corrupt. I would reload the the tune if that is how the tuner works. If it is a "shift on the fly" tuner, I would remove it and run stock for a while so the truck can relearn the stock tranny info.

I have the exact same problem. Yesterday my alternator failed, the batteries went dead and the truck died. After replacing the alternator and charging the batteries I’m haveing trouble with the transmission, it slips and then grabs between 2nd and 3rd. Did you resolve your problem? What was the fix?
