Transmission Problems

I have a 2003 F-350 6.0L 109,000mi and I recently had injector problems which lead me to buying ID's 155cc Injectors along with SCT Livewire and Eric's Xtreme Street tune. Theres the background information now here's the problem A couple days ago my remote start didn't start my truck and instead kept turning my ignition on and off for about 20 minutes and when i went out there to jump in my toasty warm ride I have a dead battery i don't mean just dead, there was almost bullet holes in it. I had to find a ride to work quickly so i did and jumped it when i got back home it started fine but i had no gauges no lights no windows no stereo... So i disconnected both battery's for 10 minutes and started it again and everything was fine, The next day leaving work i pulled up to the stoplight on an incline and its very icy i couldn't get any traction so i decided to dig for it in four wheel drive i got going but when it shifted it hopped pretty bad and the tow/haul light started blinking. I've got 3 codes showing
P0281 #7 cylinder messed up? can i catch a break???
P0730
P2703
I've cleared the codes and it seems to slam into 3rd and then tow/haul blinking occurs. I've returned the truck to stock and it shifts easier but still starts blinking anyone have these problems before? or any input?
I hope it ain't toasted
Sorry for the bad grammar, run ons and such I'm not much of a poster lol

Your 5R110W transmission adapts to the way you drive your truck. It stores the information it learns about how you drive and shifts accordingly. Disconnecting the battery erases this information.

There used to be a procedure in the tech folder that you followed to retrain your transmission after battery disconnect, but I just checked and it is gone.

Maybe someone else can let you know how to do the procedure.

No it does not. The transmission (or more correctly the TCM) does not learn anything about how the truck is driven or anything about driving habits.

It does learn how long each shift takes from when the TCM commands the shift until the shift is complete. It can then adjust the pressure for the next shift to make that shift closer to the programmed ideal shift.

That part is correct.

Drive the truck. That will relearn the information.

There is a way to make it learn faster, but it isn't necessary. All you do is warm it up, and drive so that you do three accelerations at light throttle, three at medium throttle, and three at heavy throttle. Do five N-D engagements, five N-R, five R-D, and five D-R.

Having cleared up that misunderstanding, it's not going to help sjrank. There is something wrong in the transmisson system.
P0730 means the gear ratio was not what the TCM expected. It is a very generic code because it doesn't say WHICH ratio was wrong. This may take someone with a scan tool that has Mode 6 capability to monitor data and see what the trans is doing.

I don't recognize P2703.

P2703 means Transmission Friction Element "D" Apply Time Range Performance

It means one of the clutches, and I don't remember which one is "D," took longer than it should to apply. The TCM commanded that clutch to engage and it took too long.

You might have a solenoid problem, or more likely a clutch problem.

OK so you say a series of upshifts with low, medium and high throttle. But are these auto shifts or manual shifts? My 2004 shifts hard as hell from 3rd to 4th everytime AFTER you disconnect the battery's. Then after 80 to 100 miles it seems Relearn to shift. And I never have any other problems. Any advise as its doing this now after a recent accident repair left the battery's dead.
